Lavish Living: Floyd Mayweather Buys Miami Mansion Worth $18 Million

The undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather has recently closed on a waterfront Miami Beach property. This mansion is worth $18 million and has reportedly been in high demand, with Mayweather beating other potential buyers out on purchasing the property. The home features an incredible 9 bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms and has been downgraded from its most recent asking of $19.9 million.

The mansion has no shortage of amenities for leisure and entertainment. This includes a 10-car garage, a pool, a home gym, a hot tub, an indoor movie theatre, multiple outdoor terraces, and a dock. The home was built in 2011 by former Morgan Stanley managing director Candido Viyella, alongside his wife, and in total covers 10,853 square feet and is on a 0.32-acre lot. It is also three stories with a 5,000 sq ft rooftop deck included.

Floyd Mayweather, who at 44 years old has been touted as one of the greatest boxers of all time, has been active on the housing market for quite some time. He recently sold another house in Miami Beach worth 6.25 million, unfortunately taking a $1.5 million dollar loss on the property. His new home expands on his already impressive collection of properties, which includes a $26M home in Beverly Hills, CA, and a $10M home in Las Vegas, NV.

Mayweather has been dormant of late in any serious competition at the age of 44 but did fight popular Youtuber Logan Paul in an exhibition fight in June. He also has been working on training former UFC champion Tyron Woodley for his upcoming fight with Jake Paul, who is Logan Paul’s brother.
