Floyd Mayweather Buys Miami Mansion Worth $18 Million

The undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather has recently closed on a waterfront Miami Beach property. This mansion is worth $18 million and has reportedly been in high demand, with Mayweather beating other potential buyers out on purchasing the property. The home features an incredible 9 bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms and has been downgraded from its most recent asking of $19.9 million.

The mansion has no shortage of amenities for leisure and entertainment. This includes a 10-car garage, a pool, a home gym, a hot tub, an indoor movie theatre, multiple outdoor terraces, and a dock. The home was built in 2011 by former Morgan Stanley managing director Candido Viyella, alongside his wife, and in total covers 10,853 square feet and is on a 0.32-acre lot. It is also three stories with a 5,000 sq ft rooftop deck included.

Floyd Mayweather, who at 44 years old has been touted as one of the greatest boxers of all time, has been active on the housing market for quite some time. He recently sold another house in Miami Beach worth 6.25 million, unfortunately taking a $1.5 million dollar loss on the property. His new home expands on his already impressive collection of properties, which includes a $26 million home in Beverly Hills, California and a $10 million home in Las Vegas, NV.

Mayweather has been dormant of late in any serious competition at the age of 44 but did fight popular Youtuber Logan Paul in an exhibition fight in June. He also has been working on training former UFC champion Tyron Woodley for his upcoming fight with Jake Paul, who is Logan Paul’s brother.

$50M California Mansion Lets You Breathe Underwater

A new mansion in Irvine, CA worth $50 million has been put on the market by the family of Joni Rogers-Kante, who is the CEO of a marketing company called SeneGence. Rogers-Kante originally purchased this house at just $12.5 million, so it is safe to say the family is ready to cash in. This house features all the typical nooks and crannies you would expect from a 50 million dollar home (movie theatres, personal bathroom suites, etc.), but what sets it apart from others is its amazing swimming pool.

The house’s infinity pool comes equipped with air hoses which allows people to breathe for an extended period up to 10 feet underwater. If being able to casually scuba dive in your pool whenever you want wasn’t enough, the infinity pool also features an underwater chessboard mosaic and subaquatic speakers. This means that you can listen to music and play chess for hours at the bottom of the pool because of the air hoses. Part of the selling pitch of the house is actually that the underwater set up of the pool has the potential to help create viral videos on Tik Tok and other social media platforms.

Besides the fact that you can throw an underwater party, the entire outdoor pool area is also extremely impressive, as it is equipped with a driving range, an outdoor bar, and a firepit. There is also a freezing pool that resembles a hot tub that is meant to surprise swimmers. With the mansion overlooking the gorgeous Southern California landscape, this place certainly has the potential to hold the barbeques and the pool parties of a lifetime.
